Member Appreciation Event
August 8 // 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Join Lake Region Electric Cooperative at our upcoming Member Appreciation Event at Maplewood State Park on August 8th!
Event details:
- Dinner: LREC will be grilling up hotdogs and brats with all the fixings from 3:00pm–7:00pm
- Entertainment: the band Retro Junction will play from 4:00pm–6:00pm
- Safety demonstrations: at the top of every hour, LREC linemen will conduct a safety demonstration with our safety trailer
- Guided hike: there will be a guided hike at 3:30pm and 5:00pm with Friends volunteer Linda
- Sugar Shack: the Sugar Shack will be open from 3:00pm–7:00pm for tours and to learn about the maple syrup process
- Nature education: Friends volunteer Greg will give information/education on various nature topics from 3:00pm–7:00pm
- Water activities: Andrew with Riverview Place/Pelican Paddle Company is providing free water equipment from 3:00pm–7:00pm
- EV ride/drive: we will have a Ford Mach-E and a Ford Lightening to test drive
LREC has partnered with the Friends of Maplewood State Park to offer more activities and fun. All Lake Region members can enter the park for free during the event.
