Careers

  • Build overhead and underground electrical distribution systems within the appropriate specifications, guidelines and standards in support of reliable service to the customer.
    • Construct 1, 2, and 3-phase lines including framing, setting poles, and stringing wire according to all specifications.Perform hot line work, as appropriate.

    • Locate all underground utilities. Install underground lines, including transformer and underground cables.
  • Maintain the electrical distribution system to ensure its safety and reliability while minimizing any interruption of service.
    • Perform tree trimming. Maintain street and security lights. Retrofit programs for overhead transformers.

LREC offers a generous compensation package including fully paid single coverage health insurance, company 401k match and substantial paid time off. This position’s starting pay rate is $49.00 – $51.00 with the union rate for 2025 of $51.82 to be achieved upon completion of a training and onboarding period.
